For pre‑teens and teens, hip hop builds musicality, strength, stamina, timing, and stage confidence. We train style foundations: grooves and bounce, head/shoulders/chest/hip isolations, basic toprock, beginner footwork and safe floorwork, dynamics and accents, phrase‑building, and formations.
Lesson format: 60–75 minutes. Flow: dynamic warm‑up and mobility, light conditioning (core/legs), technique (isolations/steps/patterns), across‑the‑floor lines, learning a combo/choreography, freestyle block (cypher), then cool‑down and stretching. Music uses family‑friendly/clean edits only.
Creativity & freestyle: short tasks for musicality, personal style, and teamwork; friendly battles/circle with respect for hip hop culture.
Safety: closed‑toe sneakers with good grip, comfortable activewear, hair tied back, no long jewelry. Knee pads recommended for floorwork. Jumps/tricks are age‑appropriate only; no flips/acro without dedicated training.
Expectations: steady attendance, respect for partners and coach, short at‑home practice (2–5 minutes following class videos). Open classes/mini‑showcases at term’s end. Level split (beginner/intermediate) if needed.
What to bring: sneakers, water bottle, light clothing; optional knee pads. Volume stays comfortable.
