Designed for absolute beginners or those returning after a break. We build posture and lines, rhythm and coordination, and the basics of partnerwork — frame, connection, lead/follow, and respectful boundaries.
Lesson format: 60 minutes. Flow: gentle warm‑up; technique (partner positions, weight transfers, turns, foot articulation); basic steps and simple figures; a short combo; consolidation and cool‑down.
Repertoire: Latin and Standard in equal measure. Latin: Cha‑Cha‑Cha, Rumba, Samba/Jive (beginner‑friendly combos). Standard: Waltz and Tango (adapted figures focusing on posture and lines); during the first weeks — no progressive floor travel.
Logistics: respect and consent are mandatory. Optional open‑class showings only. No competitions or festivals.
Senior‑friendly (60+) touches: gentle pace on request, low‑impact options (no jumps), chairs available for rest, extra water breaks; feel free to move at your own comfortable tempo in a warm, supportive environment.
Safety & gear: comfortable shoes with soft, non‑slip soles (soft sneakers are fine to start); later — dance shoes with a stable low heel. Tie back long hair, keep jewelry minimal. Bring water.
